Homemade Pear & Apple Sauce Recipe By Risa – 0 SP on WW

This recipe is super healthy, easy, versatile satisfying, low fat, low calories and makes a great breakfast, side dish, snack, dessert, or before/after a workout!!!

You can make this in your slow cooker, a large pot, Instant pot, or pressure cooker!

Pear Apple Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • I used approximately 8 to 10 cups of a combination of any kind of apples and pears ( it doesn’t matter how many)
  • 1 lemon
  • 1tsp or more Cinnamon
  • 1 tbs or more Sugar-free honey ( any brand or any sugar-free sugar/syrup-like Swerve, Lakanto Monk sugar, Stevia)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup or more/less water depending on the amount of fruit used
  • Can add some nutmeg if you want!

Directions

  1. Wash your fruit well!
  2. Cut into small chunks
  3. Discard any seeds
  4. Don’t peel the skin!!!
  5. Add fruit to your pot!
  6. Add water
  7. Add lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt
  8. Mix well!
  9. Allow to cook and soften!
  10. Use your emersion blender or blender or potato masher to mash up!
  11. Add more water if too thick! Or keep chunky if you want! It’s up to you!
  12. Enjoy hot or cold!!!
  13. Keep in your fridge in a sealed container!
  14. Add yogurt, sugar-free frozen yogurt, low-fat ice cream, ultra-light cool whip, sugar-free whip cream if you want!!!
